Scenario
Eve (Odessa Young), a 19th-century widow, faces an impossible choice when a ship sinks off the coast of her isolated fishing post in the middle of a particularly harsh winter. Eve and her team must choose: save the shipwrecked or survive the winter with the last remaining food. Faced with the consequences of their choices and tormented by guilt, the residents struggle with a growing sense of fear and begin to believe that they are all being punished for their choices.
