The writers of the terribly negative reviews of this thrilling series are entitled to their opinions. However, they seem to be guided by a certain plan and seem overly focused on the little things. For example, how realistic is the sequence of Laysla de Oliveira’s retreat? Many negative critics claim to have direct experience with the subject. Well, so do I. While Lioness may contain enough technical errors to not qualify as a special operations documentary, it has so many more details that need to be right – some of them astonishingly so – that it stands head and shoulders above most programs it can be compared to. For example, I switched to Lioness after I started watching Heart of Stone. I usually like Gal Gadot, but I wanted to see something with a little more red meat. Lioness delivers, and how! From the plot and plotting to the likable cast of characters, played by a truly stellar cast, everything is absolutely delicious!
